What is Art ?

We have asked those of you out there who ever thought about it to give us your definition of art. Here's what some of you wrote back.

The definitions of art are:  In the eye of the beholder - de gustibus
  • The Inner Mind Released!
  • Something that reveals your soul..and ur feelings
  • 'undefined'; once defined--it no longer is art
  • a visual experience that has a profound effect on the soul

  • My definition of art is: Art is the mystery. It can be the visual or conceptual, simple or complicated, illusion or reality. Beauty or horror, material or spiritual. Art is everything
