"New Horizons" film festival
Through the festival Cyprus hopes to encourage local filmmakers' work and to give audiences the opportunity to see something unique on the screen. It has been dubbed a celebration of independent films with entrants from many countries including Yugoslavia, the Netherlands and Iran all exploring very different subjects.
