Hadjiyiannis and the "Mediterranean" Group
The Cypriot star Michalis Hadjiyiannis was born in January 1978 in Cyprus. His parents were refugees from Kyrenia. He career kicked off when he won 1st prize at a youth talent show called "Afetiries." At 16 Michalis gave his 1st concert and in the same year released his first CD called "Gramma." His next CD was called "Senario." He then released the album "Michalis sings Doros Georgiades" and "Anonymon Patridon."
In 1998 he sang "Yenesis" for the Eurovision song contest.
He has performed alongside Haroulla Alexiou, Dimitris Fanis and others. The heart throb has recently soared to success with his Pokka coffee jingle that has sold thousands of singles as a hit song.
Michalis Hadjiyiannis will be singing with the "Mediterranean" Group on the 25th March at the Nicosia Municipal Theatre and on the 26th March at the Limassol Pattichion Theatre.
Cypriot born singer Michalis Hadjiyiannis will be giving a concert with
Kyriakou Pelagia and the Group "Mesogios" on the 14/08 at the Pissouri
Amphitheatre in Limassol.
