"O Alavrostishiotis"

 

A play written by Pavlos Liassides has been directed by Andreas Tsouris and brought to the stage by THOC.

 

The story is of a typical Cypriot family during a time when values were appreciated. The main characters are two brothers. One is a hard working farmer and very down to earth, where as the other brother is a day dreamer and speaks of the fairies that visit him. In Ancient Greece fairies represented creatures that captured people with their music and song.

Starring Neocles Neocleous, Tsouris Andreas Vassiliou, Christiana Larkou, Nicoletta Christoforou.

 

The play will be performed every Friday and Saturday at Thoc's New Stage at 20:30. Call 22-480300 for tickets.

 

There will also be performance at the Pafos Markideion Theatre on the 29th January, at the Rialto in Limassol on the 5th and 6th February. Lastly there will be a show at the Larnaca Municipal Theatre on the 7th Febraury.
