Maya Plisetskaya and the Imperial Russian Ballet

Ballet dancer Maya Plisetskaya was born in 1925 and is one of the most renowned dancers of this century. She is most famous for her performances in Swan Lake and for her role in Carmen.

The Imperial Ballet was formed in 1994 by Bolshoi Theatre Soloist Gedeminas Taranda and soloist Nikolai Anokhine. Since then the Ballet has taken the world by storm with their fabulous performances.
