"The sculptures began at a crossroads of stories and questions." says Elizabeth Hoak Doering on her latest exhibition entitled "Church of Memory." Her sculptures represent stories heard, read and told and questions about how we live our lives. The memory stands for Cyprus, be that of a refugee, or an immigrant. There is the divided island and the island before.
